WIP Wednesday

My quilting muse has deserted me.  I haven't worked on any of my quilting UFO's for a couple of months.  I have been knitting though.

I'm using a fingering weight yarn to make this, so I took a picture using my smartphone as comparison:

I really need to clean the screen on that phone!

I'm also working on a shawl using bulky Noro Iro.

I'm feeling a bit better today.  Maybe the new dosage on the meds has started working (fingers crossed).

  1. I knit, too...and have gone back and forth between the urge to hold the double points and the urge to hold the fabric, lol! And I also turned 50 this year.

  2. It is nice to have another thing to do when the muse leaves.

  3. Sorry about your absent muse, but your knitting is lovely. I usually have a couple of yarn projects going so as not to run out of ufo's, lol.

  4. It's sometimes a good thing to switch from one thing to another. You go back with "fresh eyes" and renewed enthusiasm.

  5. I really like your fingering weight scarf. I really don't see a problem with bouncing around from project to project. It's all supposed to be fun, you know. :) We just have to give ourselves permission to have fun. Sez me.
